Hello MALDIVES..!!! I’m super Stoked and Glad to have you in 4 nights. And if you ask me, Does it really look like those typical postcards or desktop wallpapers? Actually it does. It was incredibly beautiful, a tropical paradise. If there is any place on this planet to escape the real world than it is here, for sure. It’s surreal.
Unrivaled luxury, stunning white-sand beaches and an amazing underwater world make the Maldives an obvious choice for a true holiday of a lifetime.
The Maldives is home to perhaps one the best beaches in the world, they’re on almost every one of the country’s nearly 1200 islands and are so consistently perfect that it’s hard not to become blasé about them. While some beaches may boast softer granules than others, the basic fact remains: you’ll find consistently whiter-than-white powder sand and luminous cyan-blue water like this almost nowhere else on earth. This fact alone is enough to bring over a million people a year to this tiny, remote and otherwise little-known Indian Ocean paradise.
How to get there..? A direct flight from Singapore is only 4 hours and 45 minutes. And if you are from Manila, it will take 10 hours 10 minutes. However, some airlines have stop over from Singapore or Kuala Lumpur so you need to consider as well the waiting time. Manila and Singapore is 3 hours ahead of Maldives.
Get ready for the Landing at Ibrahim Nasir International Airport (Male, Maldives Airport)
This trip I travel with a group, 4 of us. And we choose to stay in Fihalhohi Island Resort. There are over 105 resorts located in the different atolls constituting the Republic of Maldives. Over the past few decades, the number of tourists in Maldives has risen continuously. From Male airport (Ibrahim Nasir International Airport) you need to travel by Jetty or private plane to the island resort that you prefer to stay. (you can choose depends on your budget)
Fihalhohi Island Resort – Aerial View
Jetty to Fihalhohi Island
The island was quite small, it took me only 20-25 minutes to surround the island walking in a slow pace and get back to where I started.
This house is cheaper than the water villas spacious and tastefully furnished with beautiful wooden decor and traditional thatched ceiling.
The Island Bar Surf Cafe
Just in case anyone would get bored in paradise, there are plenty of activities to fill your day. If you love watersports, you can try fun activities such as jet skiing, banana boating or parasailing and of course there was a dive school on the island which offered daily dive and snorkel trips.
My favorite place..!! The Water Sports, where you can rent any water sports equipment that you want to try, like snorkling vest, snorkling fins, jetski, diving equipments and others. The staff here are so accommodating.
Got no waves to play surfing? No problem lets take some photo-shoots.
Lets play pool
After dinner this is my favorite table in the bar till I feel sleepy. Every night they perform reggae songs, alternative songs and you can request as well if you want to.
